Prepare For A Pressure Washing
If you've scheduled a pressure washing session for your home, then you'll want to ensure that you've properly prepared yourself. Here are a couple of ways to prep your property for a good pressure washing so that you get great results and minimal incidents.
If you have additional pressure washing preparation questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to us today at 217-480-7122.
Close All Windows And Doors
You don't want water or soap to get into your home, so it's advised that you go around your property and ensure that all your windows and doors are closed and sealed. Double-check all these openings to make sure nothing is accidentally left open. We'll check as well before we get started, but we ask that you do your due diligence as well. Better safe than sorry.
Remove Potential Obstacles
In order for us to do our job safely and efficiently, we'll need to be able to get around your property with ease. Please remove all potential obstacles that may get in our way, including lawn furniture, potted plants, toys, sports equipment, and other related objects. We also ask that you please remove screens from windows if you're hiring us to do a full exterior house washing.
Notify Your Neighbors
Your neighbors might be slightly surprised or concerned if they see our team working around your property and are unaware of our company. Before our arrival, we advise you to let your neighbors know that we'll be doing work on your home. That way, we can work undisturbed, and you won't need to deal with any concerned phone calls.
Keep Pets And Children Inside
Pressure washing equipment can be very dangerous if not handled properly. We're trained in the science of pressure washing, so we know how to safely operate these tools, but accidents can happen if you let your children or pets roam around your property while we work. Please keep them inside throughout the duration of our session. They'll be permitted to go back outside almost immediately after we've finished.
Leave A Contact Number
In the unlikely event of an incident, we'll need to be able to contact you. Leave the best emergency contact number where we can reach you, especially if you won't be home. We do our best to avoid issues, but there may be a rare occurrence where we need to reach out to you, so we'll need a way to get in touch.
